Mr. T. a collector of various things such as classic toys, art objects, furniture, motorcycles and bicycles, was contemplating how he could harmonize his collection with his house. This led him to commission an architect to create a draft for the premises. The architect was instructed to design the apartment like an industrial product, filled with compositional and structural beauty and featuring rooms that are not competing with the collection. The result is an elegant and simple building for which all materials and every little detail have been carefully selected. It took a total of five years to reach completion. It goes without saying that the furniture in which the collection is displayed had to have a simple elegance as well. This was the perfect job for USM Modular Furniture Haller and its sleek form and structure. The color of the panels is white – the color most naturally associated with exhibits in museums. Mr. T. particularly values the fact that the robust and durable system securely protects his collection, and that it can be quickly and easily changed or expanded thanks to its flexibility. The complete collection is stored behind the shelf doors. Single pieces that he is particularly fond of can be exhibited in the open part of the shelf any way Mr. T. desires.
